As the weather cools and the days get shorter, we’re looking for footwear choices that can easily transition from daytime to evening. That’s why this season we have teamed up with our good friends at Grayers to launch a limited-edition collection of sneakers that feature materials inspired by classic men’s suiting from the 1960s. As Inside Hook so appropriately states, “It’s a collaboration between two of our favorite brands and it represents the best of both. Think casual kicks you can still pull off with a suit.”
The process began many months ago in Hong Kong when SeaVees CEO and Chief Creative Designer, Steven Tiller, got together with Grayers founder, Peter Georgiou, to combine Grayers renown premium menswear materials with SeaVees most popular men’s sneaker styles. After hours spent digging through troves of Grayers fabrics, the two designers chose a flecked gray pewter flannel and broken olive twill. These traditional materials combined with SeaVees Legend Sneaker, Army Issue, and Desert Boot silhouettes to provide a fresh take on footwear for today’s modern man.
