What makes a sneaker a SeaVees? We start at the bottom…

Our herringbone outsole is the SeaVees signature, made from a custom mold exclusive to us. It’s a nod to our heritage: the exact design of the original SeaVees from the 1960s. Carefully constructed of natural gum rubber — not cut with extra synthetic materials like the other guys. Herringbone grooves provide exclusive grip power and more bounce. Thick molded construction gives clean lines and bold, spiffy looks. Only SeaVees brings you casual class in the comfort of a sneaker.

SeaVees is a study in 1960s revisionism and we’re fueled by a desire to create products time cannot erode. When we think mid-century cool, we think calendar outsole; the original process used by passionate cobblers when vulcanized sneakers were first introduced. Sheets of natural gum rubber are imprinted, cut out and baked in a vulcanizing kiln — and this is when the magic happens. The calendar process is a throwback to the past and the true sign of a genuine sneaker maker.
