Role Summary 

We’re looking for a Social Media Intern with a true passion for all things social and knack for creating fun and out-of-the-box content to help grow the brand message through engaging tactics online. Are you a highly motivated self-starter who has fun creating and playing in an ever-changing social environment? Do you love digesting content on social media and brainstorming effective ways to engage audiences while fostering community online? The ideal candidate is truly invested in the social landscape and isn’t afraid to test & learn new approaches to support the team in establishing our brand voice across a variety of platforms.   • Work closely with the brand team to develop and execute social content for potential leverage across brand social channels. Create engaging social content (shooting live or original content as-needed) for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc. based on platform trends and best-practices. 
  • Contribute with content ideas, new storytelling formats, creative treatments and social-first ideas. 
  • Aid the team in growing and fostering engaged social media communities, on a variety of platforms including (but not limited to) Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.  
  • Assist Content Manager and Social Media Coordinator with ongoing brand influencer programming—identifying key content partners and product seeding as needed. 



  • Experience curating copy and imagery on a social media account, for a brand or your own 
  • Experience looking at, interpreting and taking action on social media performance metrics 
  • Experience with influencer marketing or social media event planning a plus 
  • Interest in traveling to nearby cities in Central/Southern California for content creation and events 
  • You are eager to contribute your own ideas and opinions and have some experience with primary social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook)  
  • Creative and strategic thinker with ability to develop fresh, original ideas that support SeaVees brand marketing goals and initiatives  
  • Proactively seeks opportunities that align to social media priorities and goals  
  • Takes initiative and is equipped to set priorities, meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively across teams
