There’s a nostalgic feeling we have when we wear corduroy. Maybe it’s the memory of the wide wale board shorts we skated in as kids. Or the fine wale 5-pocket variety we wore on campus. Regardless, what started as a fabric for nobles over two thousands year ago has endured to become one of our all-time favorites. When summer sets and the long shadows of autumn appear, there’s a warm ritual associated with corduroy that is at once familiar and majestic. Long live our beloved cloth of kings.
